Angelina wrote a poem in her drama session on ‘identity and expression’. Note the repetition within the poem and how this reinforces her message.
Little Old Me
I am human
I am me
I am a girl
With what you would consider to be big dreams
I make my fair share of mistakes
I can be wrong sometimes
And I don’t often do things right
Which I guess doesn’t seem very bright.
I may not always pass my test
But I always try my very best
I am human
I am me
I am a girl
With what you would consider to be big dreams
My hair doesn’t always stay in place
Sometimes it just falls straight on to my face
But that is who I am
I may not be perfect from head to toe
Or even know how to tie a bow
But that doesn’t matter
Because
I am human
I am me
I am a girl
With what you would consider to be big dreams
